Yesterday, Oprah Winfrey received the Presidential Medal of Freedom--The highest civilian honor in the United States!  The medal is presented to individuals who have made meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.  What an honor!  Here are some of the pictures from the event...

And what would a Medal of Freedom honor & dinner be for Oprah mean if her longtime partner Stedman Graham weren't there?!  Looks like good times were had by all.  Congratulations to Oprah for receiving the nation's highest civilian honor!
